Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account info: email, optional full name, optional referral code.
  • Property info you submit: address, ZIP, account/parcel number, appraised value, building details, comparable sales you choose to share.
  • Payment info: handled exclusively by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers — only Stripe-issued tokens (customer ID, payment-method ID, payment-intent ID).
  • Diagnostic logs: IP address and user agent on signup, waitlist entry, and Service Agreement signing — recorded for fraud and chargeback defense only.

What we don't collect

  • Property owner names from public records. The HCAD PDATA bulk dump contains owner-name and mailing-address fields; our ETL parses past them and never writes them to our database. (Internal commitment per DECISIONS [33].)
  • Card numbers / CVCs / bank info. Stripe holds these under PCI compliance.
  • Cross-site tracking pixels or third-party ad cookies.We only set first-party session and authentication cookies from Supabase Auth.

How we use it

  1. To run the property-tax protest packet you paid for.
  2. To provide your dashboard, refund window, and (Tier 2) dispute window.
  3. To answer chargeback claims (your signed Service Agreement + consent record).
  4. To send transactional email (Stripe receipts; future product updates only with your opt-in).

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@myproptimizer.com (subject: Privacy request). We respond within 7 days. Records that we are required by law (or by Stripe) to retain will be excluded from deletion and the response will say so.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell. To exercise the other rights, email the address above.

Changes

When this policy materially changes we will post an updated version here and email registered users with a brief summary. The current version is identified by the effective date above.
